Drawing & Painting
Emphasis is on personal expression and creativity to allow students to develop their fine art skills. Students work from observation and their imagination on lessons in drawing, painting, printmaking, and mixed media using a wide variety of materials including graphite, watercolor, charcoal, acrylics, pastels, ink and more.  Subject matter includes still life, landscapes, portraits & animals.  Concepts covered: color, shape, composition, line pattern, other artists work.  All levels welcome! 
Supply list will be provided for grades 9-12 All materials included for grades 1-8.


Adult/Teen Drawing & Painting Class (for all experienced levels)
Emphasis is on personal expression and creativity to allow students to develop their fine art skills.  Weekly classes will cover line, perspective, composition, value, handling edges, color theory and comparative measuring through demonstrations followed by individual attention and support.  Each class will begin with drawing and a discussion of the tools used to achieve a careful rendering of the still life, landscapes, portraits & for some classes, the figure.  Students will learn to show color, light, and atmosphere in their paintings.
