At the Longfellow we love teaching children and adults of all ages to play tennis! It's exhilarating to see players grow as individuals in the process of learning and improving their tennis games. We've created a few different exciting programs that successfully Longfellow integrates a commitment to excellence, daily lessons in good sportsmanship, and a high-spirited atmosphere of fun. Our experience, combined with the comprehensive Longfellow training system can guarantee that one session with us will have a significant and positive impact on a player's tennis game.

By signing up for park and recreation programs early, you help prevent cancellations by demonstrating sufficient interest and ensuring that programs reach their minimum participant requirements.

Refund Policy:
Refund requests must be made using our Refund Request Form, found on our website, and dated at least 7 business days prior to the start of the program. Refund request made at least 7 business days in advance of the program will be assessed a $10 withdrawal fee.  After 7 business days, no refunds will be granted. Refunds are easier to process if you pay by credit card. If more than three months have passed since your original credit card transaction your refund will be proceed by check. If you paid by check, you must submit a refund form with a copy of the cancelled check.

Tennis Levels
  • Red Ball Junior: Designed for 4 - 5 year old’s with little to no tennis experience.
  • Red Ball I & II: Designed for 6 - 7 year old's with wide range of tennis experience and skills. Focus on motor skills, rallying skills, serving, and point play.
  • Red Ball III: Designed for 7 - 8 year old's with at least one year of Red Ball tennis experience. Focuses on rallying skills, serving, tactics, point play, and some advanced techniques.
  • Orange Ball: Players will develop their tennis skills through hand-eye coordination drills in addition to technique while learning to consistently rally with other players.
  • Green Ball: Develop successful tools on court utilizing strategy to maximize tennis skills before playing yellow ball tennis.
  • Yellow Ball/Middle School: If you are planning to play tennis in high school, this program will help teach you skills to become successful in match play scenarios.
  • Cardio Tennis: Come enjoy the fun and burn some calories while hitting balls and listening to some great music! Cardio tennis is a great way to improve your tennis game and have some fun. Game-based drills keep you active throughout the hour.
  • FAST I Fun Adult Starter Tennis: Designed for adults who want to learn tennis in a supportive environment. Focus on fundamentals and strokes.
  • FAST 2 Fun Adult Starter Tennis LEVEL 2: The class is designed for players who have completed a beginners class or who may have played tennis previously.
