About Wild Wednesday
Wild Wednesday is for middle schoolers who want more than just an early ride home. We load up after school, head straight to a destination, and pack the afternoon with high-energy activities, food, and time with friends. All trips are supervised by trained Sudbury Parks & Recreation staff, with round-trip transportation provided.
December 10 — Patriots Place & Patriots Hall of Fame (Foxboro, MA)
Turn Early Release into a game day experience. We are heading to Patriot Place for food, time to explore, and a full visit to the Patriots Hall of Fame, including interactive exhibits and a stop at the Patriots Pro Shop.
Trip Highlights
- Travel directly from school to Foxboro with Sudbury Rec staff.
- Free time at Patriot Place to walk around with friends with the SPR staff.
- Eat at one of several on-site options (food court and restaurant choices).
- Guided time inside the Patriots Hall of Fame exhibits.
- Visit to the Patriots Pro Shop for fan gear (optional purchases).
What to Bring
- Spending money for food at Patriot Place.
- Optional spending money for the Pro Shop.
- Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
- Any required medications (EpiPens, inhalers, etc.), labeled for staff.
Patriots Hall of Fame Preview
January 14 — Nashoba Valley Snow Tubing Park
Kick winter into high gear with an afternoon of nonstop snow tubing at Nashoba Valley Tubing Park. Multiple lanes, a lift back to the top, and plenty of runs with friends.
Trip Highlights
- Round-trip transportation from school to Nashoba Valley Tubing Park.
- Multiple hours of snow tubing on designated lanes.
- Hang out with friends during and between runs.
- Snack bar on-site for food and warm drinks.
What to Bring
- Spending money for lunch or snacks at the snack bar.
- Winter jacket, snow pants, waterproof gloves, warm hat, and winter boots.
- Dry layer to change into afterward (optional but recommended).
- Any required medications (EpiPens, inhalers, etc.), labeled for staff.
Nashoba Valley Tubing Preview
Registration & Capacity
- Fee: $90R / $95NR per trip (Patriots Place and Nashoba are separate registrations).
- Capacity: 30+ participants per trip. Vehicle size (mini-bus or school bus) will match enrollment.
Notes: Detailed itineraries and reminders are emailed before each trip. Return times may vary slightly due to traffic and venue operations. If we return earlier (closer to 5:00 PM), participants will spend the remainder of the time in our Game Room at the Fairbank Community Center until pick-up at 6:00 PM. Required medications (EpiPens, inhalers, etc.) must be handed to staff at drop-off on trip days.
