Time: 6:30 – 7:15 PM
Where: Fairbank Community Center Fitness Room. Check-in at the Parks & Rec desk.
Fee: $18 per person per class or $95 for all 6 weeks

Functional Strength Class Description:
Join Dr. Maggie Curtis for a 45-minute strength training class designed to build strength, improve posture, and support functional movement. Class includes a dynamic warm-up followed by upper and lower body strengthening and postural work. Instruction emphasizes proper form and individualized modifications so all participants can succeed safely and effectively.

Parent (Mommy) & Me (Postpartum Strength & Connection)
Who: Postpartum moms (6+ weeks postpartum and cleared for exercise); babies to pre-crawlers encouraged
When: Mondays, September 22 – November 3, 2025 (6 weeks)
• No class: October 13
Time: 9:00 – 10:00 AM
Where: Fairbank Community Center Fitness Room. Check-in at the Parks & Rec desk.
Fee: $125 for the 6-week session
Mommy (Parent) & Me Description:
Join Dr. Maggie Curtis, pelvic health physical therapist, for a supportive 6-week workout series focused on rebuilding core, pelvic floor, and postural strength in the early months postpartum. Each class includes a gentle, progressive strength circuit and dedicated time at the end to connect with other moms.
- Build community among newly postpartum moms

- Safe space to ask questions about pelvic health and returning to activity/sport
- Form-focused coaching and individualized modifications
Eligibility: Participants must be at least 6 weeks postpartum and cleared for exercise by their medical provider.

- Baby essentials (diapers, wipes, blanket); strollers welcome for parking in the room
About the Instructor
Dr. Maggie Curtis earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University and treats a wide range of patient populations including sports, pelvic health, and orthopedic injuries. She owns Harbor Strength Physical Therapy, providing in-home PT services, and leads fitness classes emphasizing strength training, rehabilitation, and injury prevention. Outside the clinic, Maggie enjoys hiking with her husband and daughter.
