IMPORTANT UPDATE: TAZ ROOM 
Toddler Action Zone (TAZ Room) • Fairbank Community Center
Who Can Register?
  • TAZ Day Pass Use: Must create a Sudbury Rec (www.sudburyrec.com) account prior to coming to use the TAZ Room. Day pass drop-in passes can be purchased in-person.
  • TAZ Weekend Use: Require a separate weekend registration when sessions are offered.
Hours of Operation
  • Weekdays: Monday–Friday • 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Weekends: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Program Runs from October 5th - December 31st

  • TAZ ROOM — CLOSED DATES

    We are closed on all legal holidays and exclusion dates below.
    • October 12, 2026 (Monday) – Indigenous Peoples' Day/Columbus Day
    • November 11, 2026 (Wednesday) – Veterans Day
    • November 26, 2026 (Thursday) – Thanksgiving Day
    • November 27, 2026 (Friday) – Day After Thanksgiving
    • December 25, 2026 (Friday) – Christmas Day
About the Program
The TAZ ROOM DAILY PASS gives your family flexibility, unlimited access to a safe, indoor play space.  Soft play equipment, imaginative stations, and simple games help little ones build coordination, confidence, and creativity while caregivers stay close by.
Front Desk Check-In (Quick & Easy)
Families must create an account through www.sudburyrec.com prior to coming into the Fairbank Community Center and using the space.
  • Payment is due at arrival, payment amount covers ONE (1) Family for the TAZ Room. This is for both weekday and/or weekend access according to the program guidelines and availability surrounding scheduled Recreation Programs.
Rules and Guidelines (Apply to All Options)
  • The TAZ Room is not staffed. A parent or guardian must remain with their child at all times.
  • Designed for children ages 1–5. Older siblings should not use the equipment.
  • Clean indoor shoes or socks only on play surfaces.
  • Water is permitted. Snacks must be contained and cleaned up.
  • No rough or unsafe play.
  • Stay home if sick.
  • TAZ Room is a peanut/tree nut free snack facility
  • Families are required to clean up the room after use
TAZ Room Closures
The TAZ Room is closed on all legal holidays and may close due to facility usage or weather. Please call ahead if weather conditions are uncertain.
