About the Weekday Day Pass
A Drop-In Swim Weekday Day Pass lets you use the Atkinson Lap Pool any time between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM on the day of your visit.
- One pass covers one swimmer.
- You may leave and return on the same day — same-day re-entry is allowed during Drop-In Hours.
- Check in at the Parks & Recreation front desk before entering the Pool.
- Enter the Pool through locker rooms.
Day Pass Rates
- Weekday Day Pass: $12
- Valid for one weekday of access from 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Important: Day Passes are date-specific. Please choose your date carefully.
- If a date is not listed, it is not available.
- Day Passes apply to weekday access only. Weekend Swimming requires a separate reservation.
Weather, Holidays & Closures
- The Atkinson Pool is closed on all legal holidays.
- Severe weather or facility issues may require temporary closure.
- Always check the RED BANNER at www.sudburyrec.com before driving in inclement weather.
- You may also call ahead to confirm that we are open.
- Please note: During storms, staff may have limited communication, so always verify online or by phone.
Important Day Pass Reminder
Your Day Pass is valid for the one specific date you select.
If a date is not showing online, it is not available.
Please double-check your date before purchasing, as Day Passes are tied to the exact day chosen.
Key Notes
- Please be respectful when sharing a lane with other swimmers.
- No Food or Drinks on the Pool Deck.
- No Glass Water Bottles
- May need to share Lap Lane during busy periods.
- Please return any kick boards or other equipment when done.
