Overture AI Learning Program
Safe, guided, and hands-on AI education for participants
Instructor & Program Information
All instructors are Overture Certified through rigorous internal training that includes background checks.
Instructors are trained to guide both creative project work and responsible use of AI, including the paper-first, teacher-guided model where students never directly access AI tools.
Overture maintains required staff-to-student ratios by scaling instructor staffing with enrollment.
Lead Instructor: Aspen Buckingham
CEO & Founder of Overture Games
If a different instructor is assigned, Overture will notify Sudbury Park & Recreation at least one week before the program begins.
Program Description
This workshop is a hands-on, one-hour introduction to AI tools for adults, led by Overture Games CEO Aspen Buckingham. No prior experience is needed.
The session starts with each participant’s real-life challenges — work emails, meal planning, scheduling, small-business tasks, and more — and demonstrates how today’s AI tools can help personally and practically.
Small Group Learning Environment:
The group is intentionally small so every attendee receives hands-on support and individualized guidance throughout the session.
Practical Takeaway:
Participants leave with at least one concrete way to save an hour or more per week using AI tools in everyday life.
What Participants Will Learn
Demystify AI
Participants leave with a clear, accurate understanding of what today’s AI tools can and cannot do.
Practical Wins
Each participant identifies at least one personal use case such as email, planning, research, or creative work and walks through it live with the instructor.
Safe Use
Participants learn what information to share, what not to share, and how to evaluate AI-generated content critically.
Build Confidence
Participants leave ready to confidently explore and use AI tools on their own the very next day.
