Become a game designer and invent a universe players can actually explore in this 8-week program!
Inspired by the adventures children love in Mario, Pokémon, or Roblox, students draw original characters, imagine unusual worlds, and invent challenges of their own. Their ideas become a comic revealing their hero's back story, a 3D model from their universe, and a video game trailer that gets players excited. They create a song for their game world and work with instructors to bring a playable video game to life.
Deciding how players win, testing together, and improving their ideas builds logical thinking, storytelling, and teamwork. Imaging playing a game your child helped invent. Their hero, their world, your next favorite game!
Goals of the Program:
