Archery for Youth & Adults
Learn archery this fall with certified coaches using beautiful wooden recurve bows. We focus on proper form, safety, and skill progression—great for beginners and returners.
Program Snapshot
  • Who: Youth and Adults (no prior experience required)
  • Coaches: USA Archery–certified instructors
  • Equipment: All gear provided (recurve bows, arrows, arm guards)
  • Format: Progressive lessons + games/challenges each week
  • Length: Seasonal 4–5 week sessions
Skills & Benefits
  • Fundamentals: stance, grip, anchor, aim, release, and follow-through
  • Consistent form and shot grouping to build accuracy
  • Discipline, focus, attention span, and hand–eye coordination
  • Weekly mini-competitions and creative archery games
Safety on the Range
  • Strict range commands; arrows retrieved only on the coach’s signal
  • Clear shooting lanes, coach-to-participant oversight, and fitted equipment
  • Supportive environment with positive, technique-first coaching
What to Bring / Wear
  • Closed-toe athletic shoes
  • Comfortable, fitted clothing (avoid loose sleeves/hood strings)
  • Labeled water bottle

Goal and Objectives
  • Maintain a safe environment on the range at all times
  • Learn the fundamentals of the shot process including stance, grip, anchor and release
  • Develop consistent aim and accuracy
  • Challenge participants with unique drills and archery games / competitions
