Wild Wednesday Early Release Field Trip Program
Looking for early release day fun and adventure? Wild Wednesdays offer the perfect escape on early release days! Each trip is packed with excitement, from games and sports to outdoor adventures and indoor fun. Check out our schedule below:

5th Graders NOTE: 5th graders can now sign-up for this program. The catch is you must drop off your child at Parks & Rec Center at 1pm to meet us before we leave for the field trip. 

Schedule of Trips

  • NO PROGRAM on 3/19 (away at conference)
  • April 9th - Fun & Games + Natick Mall - ONLY 6 MORE SPOTS
  • April 30th - Xtreme Craze Woburn
  • May 21st - Youth Vote - High Ropes Course, Chunky's Cinema, what's your vote? Those on the April 9th trip will help finalize the plan!
  • June 4th - Canobie Lake Park with a special 6pm return time.
Schedule for the Day:
  • 12:45 PM – School Pick-Up at Curtis Middle School
  • 1:05 PM - Pick-up 5th graders from FCC - Parks & Rec (also staff)
  • 1:10 PM - Depart for Field Trip
  • 1:45/2:00 PM – Arrive at Field Trip Location
  • 4:30/5:00 PM - Return to FBCC
  • 5:00 PM – Pick-Up Time at Fairbanks Community Center (please arrive no later than 5pm for pick-up). 
What to Pack: 
  • Plenty of water!
  • Comfortable sneakers for walking/hiking activities or sports. 
  • Dress comfortable for the activity and weather.
  • If the trip requires a packed lunch, please be sure one comes in. We often have youth with no money and no lunch or food.

Refund Policy
  • Cancellation Policy:
  • Cancellations must be made at least two weeks in advance to receive a refund. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than two weeks before the trip, as tickets, buses, and staffing have already been secured.
  • A $10 cancellation fee applies to all registration cancellations, regardless of timing.
  • Registration Deadline:
  • The final day to register for field trips is the Friday before the trip.
  • If registration remains open, you may still sign up until Tuesday at 12 PM. Once registration closes, no late registrations will be accepted.
  • Don't wait! Register early to secure your spot.
