Wild Wednesday Early Release Field Trip Program
Looking for early release day fun and adventure? Wild Wednesdays offer the perfect escape on early release days! Each trip is packed with excitement, from games and sports to outdoor adventures and indoor fun. Check out our schedule below:

Note: ALL FIELD TRIPS HAVE MUCH MORE SPACE NOW! Open registration will take place until we get 40 registrations per field trip.

5th Graders NOTE: 5th graders can now sign-up for this program. The catch is you must drop off your child at Parks & Rec Center at 1pm to meet us before we leave for the field trip. 

Schedule of Trips:
  • 4-Day Pack Deal $310R/$320NR or $80R/$85NR

  • **ALL TRIPS SUBJECT TO CHANGE**
Schedule for the Day:
  • 12:45 PM – School Pick-Up at Curtis Middle School
  • 1:05 PM - Pick-up 5th graders from FCC - Parks & Rec (also staff)
  • 1:10 PM - Depart for Field Trip
  • 1:45/2:00 PM – Arrive at Field Trip Location
  • 4:30/5:00 PM - Return to FBCC
  • 5:00 PM – Pick-Up Time at Fairbanks Community Center (please arrive no later than 5pm for pick-up). 
What to Pack:
  • Lunch/Money for lunch (if location does not offer food, please bring a lunch). This will be detailed in the welcome email you'll receive on Monday before the trip. 
  • Plenty of water!
  • Comfortable sneakers for walking/hiking activities or sports. 
  • Dress comfortable for the activity and weather
Communications:
  • Call Brent while on trips by calling his office phone which is forwarded to his cell phone.

Refund Policy
*No refunds for absences (must cancel with 3 weeks notice).
*For roster purposes, registration closes the Friday before the Wild Wednesday session.
* Refund requests must be made using our Refund Request Form, found on our website under General/Department information.
* Refund requests that are dated and submitted on or before January 5th will be assessed a $10 fee. After this date no refunds will be granted.
