Pickleball Programs – Fall 2025
Organized, indoor rotating play in a welcoming environment. Choose Thursday evenings (Intermediate+) or Saturday sessions (Intermediate+ and Beginner+). Structured open play, fair rotations, and a great run for all.
Program Snapshot
  • Where: Fairbank Community Center – Community Center Gym (40 Fairbank Rd, Sudbury, MA)
  • Format: Round-robin rotation (self-managed with on-site guidance)
  • Session Length: 6 weeks (fall blocks typically run 5–6 weeks)
  • Capacity: Max 21 players per time slot
Thursday Night Pickleball (Reg. opens for Residents 9/9 & NR 9/12)
  • Day/Time: Thursdays, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Skill Level: Intermediate+ (you know the rules, have some experience, and play occasionally)
  • Max Participants: 21
  • Format: Round-robin rotation; keep matches moving and rotate promptly
Saturday Morning Pickleball (Reg. opens for Residents 9/9 & NR 9/12)
  • Session 1: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM — Intermediate+
  • Session 2: 11:15 AM – 1:15 PM — Beginner+
  • Max Participants (each session): 21
  • Format: Round-robin rotation; fair, quick court changes
How Rotations Work
  1. Check in at the front desk on the digital pad before stepping on court. Note: Scanning is not available.
  2. Place your paddle in the queue and join the next available court.
  3. Play to a standard game (or timed games if crowded), then rotate per the posted instructions.
  4. Winners split; new partners each round to keep play balanced and social.
What to Bring
  • Indoor court shoes (non-marking soles required)
  • Pickleball paddle (loaners limited)
  • Water bottle
  • Good attitude and willingness to rotate
Notes & Policies
  • These are self-managed open play sessions; participants are expected to rotate fairly.
  • Schedule may adjust due to elections, building maintenance, or facility needs; any changes will be communicated.
