Program Description (Tennis – Beginners)
A welcoming intro to tennis built around movement, coordination, and core strokes. Players use age-appropriate equipment (smaller nets, softer balls) to build confidence and rally skills quickly.
- Skill Focus: athletic stance, grip, contact point, forehand/backhand, cooperative rallying.
- Progression: footwork patterns → controlled swings → targets & rally games.
- Environment: upbeat, supportive coaching with clear cues and lots of reps.
What to Bring
- Labeled water bottle; athletic wear and sneakers.
- Rackets provided; participants may bring their own if preferred.
Fall 2 Session: Nov 17 – Dec 22, 2025 (6 weeks, Mondays)

Program Description (Multi-Sports Tots)
Play-based movement class introducing preschoolers to running, jumping, throwing, catching, balance, and simple game rules. Stations keep kids active with short, fun challenges that build coordination.
- Skill Focus: gross-motor skills, spatial awareness, listening, turn-taking.
- Format: quick stations and mini-games; frequent water breaks; caregiver-friendly viewing.
- Outcome: confidence in a gym setting and readiness for “big kid” sports.
Program Description (Sports & Games)
A high-energy sampler for elementary-age kids featuring tag variations, relay races, soccer-style games, floor hockey skills, throwing/catching activities, and teamwork challenges.
- Skill Focus: agility, reaction, teamwork, basic sport rules & scoring.
- Format: dynamic warm-ups → skill stations → short games that rotate each week.
- Outcome: improved fitness, sportsmanship, and love of staying active.
What to Bring
- Labeled water bottle; athletic wear and sneakers.
- All equipment provided; no prior experience necessary.
Winter 1 Session: Jan 12 – Mar 2, 2026 (6 weeks, Mondays)
No class: Jan 19 & Feb 16

Fast-paced drills and fun rally games reinforce proper mechanics while keeping players moving. We build consistency, control, and game awareness—with progress tracked week to week.
- Skill Focus: consistent contact, directional control, serve intro, moving to the ball.
- Progression: footwork ladders → target hits → rally & scoring games.
- Environment: positive, confidence-building sessions with lots of ball touches.
What to Bring
- Labeled water bottle; athletic wear and sneakers.
- Rackets provided; participants may bring their own if preferred.
