Skyhawks Tennis for Beginners – Fall 2025
A fun, supportive intro to tennis for Grades K–2 and 3–5. Kids learn proper grip, footwork, and core strokes through creative games and high-energy drills—no experience needed.
Program Snapshot
  • Dates: Mondays, September 22 – October 27, 2025 (No Class: Mon, Oct 13)
  • Location: Fairbank Community Center – Community Center Gym
  • Session Length: 5 weeks
  • Equipment: All tennis equipment provided
Schedule & Fees
  • Grades K–2: Mondays, 3:30 – 4:15 PM — $150 Resident / $160 Non-Resident
  • Grades 3–5: Mondays, 4:30 – 5:30 PM — $150 Resident / $160 Non-Resident
What They’ll Learn
  • Fundamentals: grip, footwork, forehand, backhand, and basic rallying
  • Fun, high-rep games and drills to build coordination and confidence
  • Age-appropriate setup: smaller nets, softer balls, and adjusted court sizes
  • Positive, engaging coaching from trained Skyhawks staff
What to Bring
  • Labeled water bottle
  • Comfortable athletic wear and sneakers
  • Rackets provided (you may bring your own if preferred)
Good to Know
  • Great for beginners—no prior tennis experience required
  • All activities emphasize safety, inclusion, and sportsmanship
