Skyhawks Youth Tennis Program (beginner level)

Join us for a fun and engaging 6-week beginner tennis program with Skyhawks Coaching! Perfect for young athletes, this program runs Tuesday's from January 28 to February 11 (6-week program).

  • Fee: $150pp
Designed specifically for beginners, this program focuses on building a strong foundation in tennis skills. Our experienced coaches will introduce your child to the essential elements of the game, including:
  • Grip and Stance: Learning how to hold the racket properly and stand in the correct position for effective shots.
  • Basic Stroke Techniques: Mastering fundamental strokes like forehands, backhands, and volleys, helping players develop their swing mechanics.
  • Serving Fundamentals: Understanding the basics of serving, including stance, toss, and contact.
  • Footwork and Movement: Improving agility and coordination on the court to enhance gameplay.
  • Game Rules and Scoring: Familiarizing players with the basic rules of tennis, ensuring they understand how to play matches confidently.
Through interactive drills, fun games, and friendly competition, your child will not only develop their tennis skills but also gain confidence and make new friends.

  • Equipment: 
    • Bring your own racquet, but we will have a few to borrow.
    • Skyhawks will supply balls.


By signing up for park and recreation programs early, you help prevent cancellations by demonstrating sufficient interest and ensuring that programs reach their minimum participant requirements.

Refund Policy:
Refund requests must be made using our Refund Request Form, found on our website, and dated at least 7 business days prior to the start of the program. Refund request made at least 7 business days in advance of the program will be assessed a $10 withdrawal fee.  After 7 business days, no refunds will be granted. Refunds are easier to process if you pay by credit card. If more than three months have passed since your original credit card transaction your refund will be proceed by check. If you paid by check, you must submit a refund form with a copy of the cancelled check.
