Camp Invention® – A Week of Imagination, Innovation, and Camp Inv Logo Exploration!

Description:
Sudbury Parks & Recreation is thrilled to partner with the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF) to bring the nationally acclaimed Camp Invention® to children entering grades K through 6. This inspiring, hands-on camp is perfect for young innovators eager to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and creativity. Designed to ignite a passion for problem-solving, this weeklong experience is packed with exciting activities, collaboration, and real-world challenges that are as educational as they are fun.
Each day at Camp Invention, children will:
  • Design and Build: Create a personalized claw machine complete with unique prizes while exploring physics, animal adaptations, and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Discover Optical Illusions: Dive into the science behind illusions in art, film, and theater by crafting and testing moving props like a true special effects expert.
  • Engineer for the Ultimate Road Trip: Build a custom dashboard, transmitter, and receiver to navigate their own adventurous road trip. Solve creative challenges along the way!
  • Embark on an Eco-Expedition: Investigate Antarctica’s icy terrain and penguin habitats while inventing planet-saving prototypes alongside a robotic assistant.
