The House of Dance is offering an array of classes from hip hop, jazz to ballet and more. We are the next generation of dance!
Bumblin' Ballet (Ages 2-4) Ballet is the foundation for all types of dance techniques. The structure of this class enhances students' physical and mental discipline while improving posture, placement, flexibility, and strength. Each class begins with barre and center work, followed by exercises across the floor and reverence. Students learn performance skills and music fundamentals while cultivating self-confidence and presence.
Move & Groove (Ages 2-4) Move and Groove is our newest Independent Toddler class. Just like Bumblin Ballet — Move & Groove will provide enrichment in a child’s physical social emotional language and cognitive development. Every class provides child-centered and age-appropriate activities. In, Move & Groove the studio will become a magical place where children learn to dance through imagination and creativity. This is a class that teaches the basics of rhythm coordination and still having fun!
Move w/Mommy (9m-2y) Move with Mommy is HOD’s new innovative class where a parent or guardian joins them during their dance class. The teacher will encourage engaging with props and a variety of popular song and movement activities. Dancers are encouraged to use their imaginations and repetition that is extremely beneficial to learning. This class is the perfect way to begin to work on independent participation at their own pace. Parents and guardians are encouraged to dance along with their toddlers during Move with Mommy class and create memories that will last a lifetime!
Hippity Hop (Grades PreK-K) Has your child wanted to, "dance like the big kids?" Well now his his or her chance! Hippity Hop is hip-hop for the younger set. This class focuses on rhythm, body awareness, simple choreography and high-energy fun, all set to cool, funky, age-appropriate music!
Hip Hop (Grades 1-2 & 3-5) Has your child wanted to, "dance like the big kids?" Well now his his or her chance! Hip-hop incorporates urban movements, such as street dance, popping and locking. This class focuses on rhythm, body awareness, simple choreography and high-energy fun, all set to cool, funky, age-appropriate music!
By signing up for park and recreation programs early, you help prevent cancellations by demonstrating sufficient interest and ensuring that programs reach their minimum participant requirements.
Refund Policy:
Refund requests must be made using our Refund Request Form, found on our website, and dated at least 7 business days prior to the start of the program. Refund request made at least 7 business days in advance of the program will be assessed a $10 withdrawal fee. After 7 business days, no refunds will be granted. Refunds are easier to process if you pay by credit card. If more than three months have passed since your original credit card transaction your refund will be proceed by check. If you paid by check, you must submit a refund form with a copy of the cancelled check.
