Trunk or Treat Event at Sudbury Recreation

Location: 40 Fairbanks Road, Sudbury, MA
Trunk or Treat Area: Sudbury Senior Center side of the Fairbanks Community Center
Parking: Available across the street at the Haskell Field Parking Lot (Parks & Rec Lot is Closed for Pool Construction)
Description: Join us for a fun-filled evening of Halloween festivities at Sudbury Recreation's Trunk or Treat event! This family-friendly event is designed to bring the community together for a night of creative costumes, decorated vehicles, games, and of course, plenty of treats.
Event Highlights:
- Trunk or Treat (6:00-8:00 PM): The event kicks off at 6:00 PM with a sensory-friendly time for the first half-hour. During this period, the Trunk or Treat area will feature reduced noise and lighting to accommodate those with sensory sensitivities. After 6:30 PM, the full event continues with a variety of creatively decorated vehicles offering candy and treats to trick-or-treaters.
- The Cherry Hits Band, Games & Activities: Parks & Rec staff will be running fun games for all ages throughout the evening.
- Information & Registration: Learn about the latest Parks & Rec and Senior Programs at our info table. You can even register for upcoming programs right on the spot!
Participation Information:
- Public "Trunk" Registration:
Community members are encouraged to join in the fun by registering their vehicles to participate in the Trunk or Treat. The cost is $10 per vehicle, and you can get creative with your decorations to impress the crowd and share some Halloween joy. Everyone that registers for a Trunk and shows up will get their $10 credited to their account (making the event free for them). Given last year's success it is important to have a MINIMUM of 7 Bags of candy.
- Vendors/Sponsors:
Businesses and organizations are invited to take part in the event by decorating a vehicle and handing out treats. The cost to participate is $25, which includes a spot to showcase your business or organization, along with the opportunity to display signage. This is a great way to engage with the community in a fun and interactive setting.
Admission:
This event is FREE to attend for the public, so bring your friends and family to enjoy the festivities.
