Help the Rebel Art Group bring the holiday spirit to life at our Deck the Rec event! Join us for an evening of creativity and community as we decorate the Park & Recreation hallway windows for the Holiday Village event happening the next day!
This event is open to:
- Individuals ages 14 and up
- Families with 3 or more people (at least one adult required)
How it works:
Participants will be assigned a section of the hallway windows to paint and can stay as long as needed to complete their artwork—no rush, just festive fun! You can arrive anytime between 5:30pm and 8:45pm. All artwork does have to be completed by the end of the event - 9:00PM!
Families with young children:
The Taz Room will be open for families who need a break space or for younger children who would like to play while a parent paints.
- Children in the Taz Room must be accompanied by an adult caregiver/parent at all times.
- Children under 14 are not permitted to attend unless part of a registered family group with an adult. DO DROP-OFFS PERMITTED!
Schedule of Events:
- 5:15 PM: Check-in begins
- 5:30 PM: Painting starts
- By 8:45 PM: Wrap up your artwork and help us get the hallway ready for the big event!
- Event concludes at 9:00PM

By signing up for Park and Recreation programs early, you help prevent cancellations by demonstrating sufficient interest and ensuring that programs reach their minimum participant requirements.
Refund Policy
Refund requests must be made using our Refund Request Form, found on our website, and dated at least 7 business days prior to the start of the program. Refund request made at least 7 business days in advance of the program will be assessed a $10 withdrawal fee. After 7 business days, no refunds will be granted. Refunds are easier to process if you pay by credit card. If more than three months have passed since your original credit card transaction your refund will be proceed by check. If you paid by check, you must submit a refund form with a copy of the cancelled check.
